Overmind is 10 inches tall, not a dwarf

I'd go with the arms on a slightly smaller scale. This will help with space and displayability and give the character more definition than just the head

Stranger always adjusted his size based on the situation so having one that is not enormous should not matter.

I thought long and hard about it and he has to have arms. Let's assume for a minute that there would be a matching Overmind kit. Overmind is 10' tall and the Stranger can vary his height so let's just call them both 10 feet tall to make a matched set. There are 120 inches in 10 feet and if we divide that by 8 for a 1/8th scale, that gives us 15 inches. The human body is roughly 8 heads tall, with the waist to the top of the head generally measured as 3 heads tall. So 3/8ths of 15 would be 5.625" or 14.3cm for the torso. Put him on a 3" base and he tops out at 8.625" (+/- a little for hair...or helmet in the Over-Mind's case) which is 21.9cm tall. did I do the math right? A 10' tall stranger or Overmind in 1/8th scale would be 5.625' (14.3cm) from waist line to the top of the head? If so then the stranger would come in at just under 9" and Overmind would be slightly taller because of his helmet.

They would both tower over most other busts. The USAgent bust is only 5 5/8" in total height just as an example. Would this be large enough to make most everyone happy?

If so, I would like to get this project assigned to a sculptor asap.

you can make Stranger as big as Surtur and Overmind as big as the planet hulk bust. Sutur is much bigger then the plant hulk bust and the planet hulk bust is far taller then the normal bowen bust.

For me they must remain the same size. As mortal enemies they must do battle on an even playing field as they are designed to be displayed together or perhaps as "bookends" for a cosmic display.

This picture is a FS Hard Hero that I cut down with the idea he could be converted to the Stranger. His torso is 5.15" (13.1cm) tall. The box is 3 inches tall. So he stands right at 8" tall. This is 1/2 inch shorter than the size I plan for Stranger and Overmind. They will look very large next to other busts.



Even if I had a list of 20 people saying they would buy a Surtur sized bust of the Stranger, it is simply a financial risk I am unwilling to take.

I just wanted to let everyone know that my costs for molding and casting has gone up since I did the Puma kit. With that in mind, I have decided to commission Overmind only if I can get 14 people to commit to the project. Verbal only of course, but please do not commit if you aren't 95% sure. This is not a break even number for me, but rather an exceptable loss threshold.
 
The Stranger will be produced either way. I should mention that I am estimating a price around $100 US per casting for both the  Stranger and Overmind, give or take $5 depending on how much the molds and casting will cost me.

FYI - I will want 15 people to move forward with Sugar Man when the time comes as well. I'm sure he will be a considerable chunk of resin.

Avec ceci a l'esprit , il a décidé de ne  produire le buste d'Overmind ( Mastermind pour les français  ) que si il y a au moins 14 personnes intéressées par ce projet . Un accord verbal est suffisant bien sur  , mais seulement si vous étes certains a 95 % . Ce nombre est nécessaire pour qu'il ne perde pas trop d'argent dans l'histoire .

 L'Etranger va etre produit de toute façon . Le prix estimé va étre de 100 $ ( a 5$ prés ...) pour chacun des deux bustes .

Le moment venu , le méme système va ètre mis en place pour Sugar Man avec une liste de 15 personnes . Ce  kit devrait nécessité un bon paquet de résine ...

And just to be clear, only the Overmind's production will be determined by buyer interest. I will be producing the Stranger whether 20 people or 2 people commit, but feel free to continue the list for the Stranger. That way I know who to MP when he is ready
